Pastor Emily Nesdahl
Pastor
Pastor Emily Nesdahl was born and raised in Minot. She graduated from NDSU and Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN. Her first call was in Harwood, ND to Maple Sheyenne Lutheran Church, the oldest Swedish Lutheran church in the state. She served there for five years, and the wonderful people there taught her so much about community and ministry. She then served for almost ten years at Peace Lutheran Church in Burlington, ND. The people there taught her about courage and joy. Emily has been at Christ Lutheran since the fall of 2021. Her primary role at the church is to serve the church and the community in the areas of addiction and mental health, along with other pastoral duties. The people of Christ Lutheran Church have been teaching her about hospitality, generosity, and caring for their community. Emily is married to Joey, who is a teacher, and they have two children, Jack and Henry.
